Cigna is leaving the ACA marketplace in 2027 — what Brevard County residents need to know

On May 1, 2026, The Cigna Group officially announced it will exit the Affordable Care Act (ACA) individual health insurance marketplace at the end of this year. About 369,000 members across 11 states will need to find new health coverage before January 1, 2027.
